Wrap-A-Ride x Useryze: The Journey Behind Turning Rideshares into ROI-Driving Billboards
Updated: July 02, 2025
Your Reading Guide
If you’ve ever walked past a static billboard and barely noticed it, you’re not alone, and that’s exactly the problem. Local advertising has long been stuck in a world of "set it and forget it" signage that rarely justifies its price tag.
When the founders of Wrap-A-Ride came to Useryze, they had a big idea: what if local businesses could turn Uber and Lyft cars into dynamic, mobile billboards complete with real-time analytics and self-serve setup? Think Google Ads meets out-of-home marketing.
We loved it. So, we rolled up our sleeves and helped bring their vision to life.
The Challenge: Rethinking OOH for a Hyperlocal World
Traditional out-of-home (OOH) advertising is slow, expensive, and impossible to optimize in real time. Flyers don’t fly, billboards don’t budge, and most campaigns leave small business owners wondering what they got in return.
Wrap-A-Ride asked us:
“Can we make OOH feel more like performance marketing?”
Our answer: Absolutely.
But to do that, we needed to build a platform that made three things easy for non-technical users:
Target the right streets
Quickly turn ideas into action
Track real-time results
How Wrap-A-Ride Works: Behind the Scenes of a Modern OOH Platform
Here’s what we built and how it all connects:
1. Drivers & Advertisers Sign Up
Drivers looking to earn extra income and advertisers wanting local exposure both register through the Wrap-A-Ride platform. We keep onboarding simple and human.
2. Matching
To ensure quality and compatibility, we currently manually match drivers and advertisers based on the term length, car type, and local availability. This hands-on phase ensures that early adopters get a smooth experience.
3. Advertiser Uploads Brand Assets
Business owners upload logos, promos, or seasonal messaging into our React-based creative tool. It’s drag-and-drop simple, no designer needed.
4. Partnering with FastSigns for Design & Install
We’ve partnered with FastSigns, a national signage provider, to handle printing and installation.
Here’s the flow:
Wrap-A-Ride sends advertiser assets + vehicle details to FastSigns.
FastSigns customizes the wrap layout based on car type and location.
Advertisers review a proof and approve the design.
Once approved, payment is taken and the print order is sent to the FastSigns location nearest to the matched driver.
5. Installation Day
Drivers are notified when their wrap is ready. They simply visit the nearby FastSigns location to get the wrap installed, usually in just a few hours.
6. Campaign Goes Live
Once installed, the campaign is live! From that point forward, we track the vehicle’s movement and mileage in real time. Advertisers can monitor impressions, engagement (via QR codes), and even time-of-day effectiveness from their dashboard.

What Useryze Brought to the Table
At Useryze, we specialize in building CRO-first platforms products designed to convert, test, and learn from day one. Here’s what we helped Wrap-A-Ride create:
Route Intelligence
We integrated city traffic APIs and ride-hail data to help advertisers focus their spend on high-visibility routes. No more guessing. Just smart, data-driven targeting.
Creative Automation
Our self-serve creative tool (built in React) helps advertisers upload artwork, which is then processed through a backend service that optimizes layout contrast and sizing based on motion readability and vehicle specs.
Self-Service Dashboard
Using Next.js + PayloadCMS, we created an interface where advertisers can spin up a campaign in minutes: choose dates, upload creative, set a budget, and launch.
End-to-End Infrastructure
From API integrations (Lyft, Uber, Stripe) to auto-tracking tools, we stitched together a seamless backend that lets Wrap-A-Ride operate like a well-oiled growth engine.
The CRO Edge: Performance-Driven OOH
Everything we built with Wrap-A-Ride reflects our Useryze philosophy: build fast, test smarter, and always optimize for ROI.
Speed to Market: Campaigns can go live in under 48 hours.
Precision Spend: Advertisers only pay for the neighborhoods and routes that matter.
Real-Time Results: Vehicle GPS and QR-code scans power a live dashboard showing which cars, streets, and times drive the most engagement.
This isn’t just advertising. It’s measurable growth on wheels.
The Wrap-A-Ride Journey: From Idea to MVP in 6 Weeks
We didn’t just build a product, we built momentum.
Using internal UI kits and cloud deployment pipelines, we helped launch the Wrap-A-Ride alpha in just six weeks.
From there, our fractional engineers stayed involved, testing ad copy variations, optimizing route algorithms, and running backend stress tests to prepare for scale.
And if you're a founder building a bold idea like this one, Useryze is here to help you move fast, build smart, and grow with confidence.

Set the stage for sustained growth and enduring brand strength. For any company looking to scale without sacrificing its core message, the path is clear: centralize, integrate, and let your positioning lead the way.
